Recombinant extracellular domain (Met1-Ser297) of cyno FCGRT (Q8SPV9) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; Recombinant cyno B2M (Q8SPW0) (Met1-Met119) constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the FCGRT/B2M heterodimer was purified. The purified protein was biotinylated in vitro.
Description
This gene encodes a receptor that binds the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulin G. The encoded protein transfers immunoglobulin G antibodies from mother to fetus across the placenta. This protein also binds immunoglobulin G to protect the antibody from degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
