Product Description
Cat
IMP-10657
Official Symbol
CD24
Product Overview
Biotinylated recombinant human CD24 protein (Ser27-Gly59) with a Human IgG1 (Pro100-Lys330) Fc tag and Avi-tag at C-terminus was expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cell line.
Description
This gene encodes a sialoglycoprotein that is expressed on mature granulocytes and B cells and modulates growth and differentiation signals to these cells. The precursor protein is cleaved to a short 32 amino acid mature peptide which is anchored via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI) link to the cell surface. This gene was missing from previous genome assemblies, but is properly located on chromosome 6. Non-transcribed pseudogenes have been designated on chromosomes 1, 15, 20, and Y. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Expression System
CHO
Species
Human
Tag
C-hFc and Avi
Predicted N Terminal
Ser27

Bio-activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Human Siglec-10 Fc Chimera is coated at 5 μg/mL, the concentration of Biotinylated Recombinant Human CD24 Fc Chimera Avi-tag that produces 50% optimal binding response is found to be approximately 1.5-7.5 μg/mL.
Endotoxin
<0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE visualized with Silver Staining and quantitative densitometry by Coomassie Blue Staining.
Notes
Disulfide-linked homodimer, biotinylated via Avi-tag
