Recombinant Human CD40LG Protein (Met113-Leu261), N-HA-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-10364
Official Symbol
CD40LG
Product Overview
Recombinant human CD40 Ligand/TNFSF5 protein (Met113-Leu261) with YPYDVPDYA HA tag at N-terminus was expressed in Human embryonic kidney cell.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is expressed on the surface of T cells. It regulates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene results in an inability to undergo immunoglobulin class switch and is associated with hyper-IgM syndrome.
Expression System
HEK293
Species
Human
Tag
N-HA
Predicted N Terminal
Tyr (of HA tag)
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS and EDTA with Trehalose.
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using human B cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.250-3.00 ng/mL in the presence of Recombinant Human IL-4 and a cross linking HA Tag Antibody.
Endotoxin
<0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 500 μg/mL in PBS.
SDS-PAGE
Bioactivity-ELISA 1
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using human B cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.250-3.00 ng/mL in the presence of Recombinant Human IL-4 and a cross linking HA Tag Antibody.
