Recombinant Human CD40LG Protein (Met113-Leu261), N-HA-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-10368
Official Symbol
CD40LG
Product Overview
Recombinant human CD40 Ligand/TNFSF5 protein (Met113-Leu261) with Hemagglutinin tag (YPYDVPDYA) at N-terminus was expressed in Human embryonic kidney cell.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is expressed on the surface of T cells. It regulates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene results in an inability to undergo immunoglobulin class switch and is associated with hyper-IgM syndrome.
Expression System
HEK293
Species
Human
Tag
N-HA
Predicted N Terminal
Tyr
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS and EDTA with BSA as a carrier protein.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 21.6 kDa
SDS-PAGE: 22-26 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Met113-Leu261
Bio-activity
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using enriched human B cells in the presence of IL-4. The ED50 for this effect is 0.2-1.2 ng/mL in the presence of 20 ng/mL of Recombinant Human IL-4 and a cross-linking antibody, Mouse Anti-Hemagglutinin/HA Peptide Monoclonal Antibody.
Endotoxin
<0.01 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
