Product Overview
Recombinant human CD52, fused to hIgGHis-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Description
CD52, also known as CAMPATH-1 antigen, is a small glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored glycoprotein that is tethered to the cell surface with a GPI linkage. This protein can be targeted to induce immune suppression by complement-meditated cell lysis. CD52 is expressed on lymphocytes, monocytes, monocytesderived dendritic cells, eosinophils, and neutrophils, but not on the stem cells from which these lymphocytes were derived. Also, it is an important target for therapeutic interventions aimed at leukocyte depletion in hematological malignancies and post-transplant immunosuppression.
