Recombinant extracellular domain (Met 1-Ile 218) of human CD32a (AAA35827.1) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. It is identical to FCGR2A131H/R in the reference.

Description

This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Molecular Mass

The recombinant human CD32a/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein. The reduced monomer consists of 426 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 47.3 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rh CD32a/Fc monomer is approximately 55 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
