Recombinant extracellular domain (Met1-Ile218) of human FCGR2A (P12318-1, with Natural variant His 167 Arg) was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Description
This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Expression System
HEK293
Species
Human
Tag
C-His
Predicted N Terminal
Gln 34
Form
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.5, 5 % trehalose, 5% mannitol and 0.01% Tween80.
Molecular Mass
The recombinant human FCGR2A consists of 196 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and predicts a molecular mass of 22 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 30 kDa protein due to glycosylation by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Protein length
Met1-Ile218
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU/μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity
> 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20 to -80 centigrade. Store it under sterile conditions at -20 to -80 centigrade. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution
A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.
