Recombinant extracellular domain (Ala 46-Ile 224) of mature human CD32b (NP_001002274.1) protein was fused with a signal peptide at the N-terminus and a c-terminal polyhistidine tagged AVI tag at the C-terminus.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a low affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes. The encoded protein is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. Variations in this gene may increase susceptibilty to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Molecular Mass
The recombinant mature human CD32b consists of 214 amino acids after proteolytic removal of the signal peptide and predicts a molecular mass of 24 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 30-35 kDa protein due to glycosylation.
