Recombinant extracellular domain (Met1-Ser297) of human FCGRT (P55899) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; Recombinant human B2M (P61769) (Met1-Met119) constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the FCGRT / B2M heterodimer was purified. The purified protein was biotinylated in vitro.
Description
This gene encodes a receptor that binds the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulin G. The encoded protein transfers immunoglobulin G antibodies from mother to fetus across the placenta. This protein also binds immunoglobulin G to protect the antibody from degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
