Recombinant Human ICAM1 Protein (Met1-Glu480)
Product Description
Cat
IMP-10403
Official Symbol
ICAM1
Product Overview
Recombinant human ICAM-1/CD54 protein (Met1-Glu480) without tag was expressed in Mouse myeloma cell line.
Description
This gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein which is typically expressed on endothelial cells and cells of the immune system. It binds to integrins of type CD11a / CD18, or CD11b / CD18 and is also exploited by Rhinovirus as a receptor.
Expression System
Mouse myeloma cell line
Species
Human
Tag
Tag Free
Predicted N Terminal
Not obtained, Predicted Gln28
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS, containing Calcium and Magnesium with Sorbitol and with Trehalose.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 50 kDa
SDS-PAGE: 70-90 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Met1-Glu480
Bio-activity
Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of PMA-stimulated HSB2 human peripheral blood acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. When 5 × 10^4 cells/well are added to Recombinant Human ICAM-1/CD54 coated plates (12.5 μg/mL with 100 μL/well), >30% cells will adhere after 1 hour incubation at 37 centigrade. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Endotoxin
<0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>90%, by SDS-PAGE visualized with Silver Staining and quantitative densitometry by Coomassie Blue Staining.
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 400 μg/mL in sterile PBS.
