Recombinant Human IL17A&IL17F Protein, No Tag
Product Description
Cat
IMP-4655
Official Symbol
IL17A&IL17F
Product Overview
Recombinant human IL17A (Q16552) (Ile20-Ala155) was expressed, constructed the plasmid 1; the human IL17F (NP_443104.1) (Arg31-Gln163) was expressed, constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the heterodimer was purified.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine is expressed by activated T cells, and has been shown to stimulate the production of several other cytokines, including IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM_CSF. This cytokine is also found to inhibit the angiogenesis of endothelial cells and induce endothelial cells to produce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1.

Bioactivity-Cell based assay 1
Bioactivity-Cell based assay

Measured by its ability to induce IL-6 secretion by NIH‑3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells in the presense of 20ng/mL TNFα. The ED50 for this effect is 1-6 ng/mL.
