Recombinant Mouse CD80 Protein (Asp37-Lys245), C-6×His-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-10313
Official Symbol
Cd80
Product Overview
Recombinant Mouse B7-1/CD80 protein (Asp37-Lys245) with a C-terminal 6×His tag was expressed in Mouse myeloma cell line.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy.
Expression System
Mouse myeloma cell line
Species
Mouse
Tag
C-6×His
Predicted N Terminal
Asp37
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 25 kDa
SDS-PAGE: 39-54 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Asp37-Lys245
Bio-activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse CTLA-4 Fc Chimera is immobilized at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well), the concentration of Recombinant Mouse B7-1/CD80 that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is approximately 5-30 ng/mL.
Endotoxin
<0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE visualized with Silver Staining and quantitative densitometry by Coomassie Blue Staining.
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 500 μg/mL in PBS.
