Recombinant Mouse Fcgrt&B2m Protein, C-His&C-AVI-tagged, Biotinylated
Product Description
Cat
IMP-4492
Official Symbol
Fcgrt&B2m
Product Overview
Recombinant mouse FCGRT (NP_034319.2) (Met 1-Ser 297) was fused with a C-terminal polyhistidine tagged AVI tag at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; Recombinant mouse B2M (P01887, 105Ala/Asp) (Met 1-Met 119) constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the FCGRT / B2M heterodimer was purified. The purified heterodimer was biotinylated in vivo by the Biotin-Protein ligase (BirA enzyme) which is co-expressed.
Description
This gene encodes a receptor that binds the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulin G. The encoded protein transfers immunoglobulin G antibodies from mother to fetus across the placenta. This protein also binds immunoglobulin G to protect the antibody from degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
