Recombinant Mouse IL2RG Protein (Ser25-Ala263), C-hFc-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-10546
Official Symbol
Il2rg
Product Overview
Recombinant Mouse Common gamma Chain Fc Chimera protein (Ser25-Ala263) with a Human IgG1 (Pro100-Lys330) Fc tag at C-terminus was expressed in Sf 21 cells.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is an important signaling component of many interleukin receptors, including those of interleukin -2, -4, -7 and -21, and is thus referred to as the common gamma chain. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency (XSCID), as well as X-linked combined immunodeficiency (XCID), a less severe immunodeficiency disorder.
Expression System
Sf 21 cells
Species
Mouse
Tag
C-hFc
Predicted N Terminal
Ser25
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 54.5 kDa (monomer)
SDS-PAGE: 60 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Ser25-Ala263
Bio-activity
Measured by its ability to inhibit the IL-2-dependent proliferation of MO7e human megakaryocytic leukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 2-10 μg/mL in the presence of 30 μg/mL of soluble IL-2 R beta and 10 ng/mL of recombinant human IL-2.
Endotoxin
<1.0 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>90%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Notes
Disulfide-linked homodimer
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS.
