Recombinant Mouse TNFRSF14 Protein (Gln39-Val207), C-mFc-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-9733
Official Symbol
Tnfrsf14
Product Overview
Recombinant Mouse HVEM/TNFRSF14 protein (Gln39-Val207) with a Mouse IgG2A (Glu98-Lys330) Fc tag at C-terminus was expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cell line.
Description
This gene encodes a member of the TNF (tumor necrosis factor) receptor superfamily. The encoded protein functions in signal transduction pathways that activate inflammatory and inhibitory T-cell immune response. It binds herpes simplex virus (HSV) viral envelope glycoprotein D (gD), mediating its entry into cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Expression System
CHO
Species
Mouse
Tag
C-mFc
Predicted N Terminal
Gln39
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 45.6 kDa
SDS-PAGE: 60-65 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Gln39-Val207
Bio-activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse (rm) HVEM Fc Chimera is immobilized at 100 ng/mL, 100 μL/well, the concentration of biotinylated rmBTLA Fc Chimera that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is found to be approximately 30-120 ng/mL.
Endotoxin
<0.01 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Notes
Disulfide-linked homodimer
