Recombinant Mouse TNFRSF8 Protein (Phe19-Thr281), C-hFc and 6×His-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-9922
Official Symbol
Tnfrsf8
Product Overview
Recombinant Mouse CD30/TNFRSF8 protein (Phe19-Thr281) with a Human IgG1 (Pro100-Lys330) Fc tag and 6×His tag at C-terminus was expressed in Mouse myeloma cell line.
Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is expressed by activated, but not by resting, T and B cells. TRAF2 and TRAF5 can interact with this receptor, and mediate the signal transduction that leads to the activation of NF-kappaB. This receptor is a positive regulator of apoptosis, and also has been shown to limit the proliferative potential of autoreactive CD8 effector T cells and protect the body against autoimmunity. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
Expression System
Mouse myeloma cell line
Species
Mouse
Tag
C-hFc and 6×His
Predicted N Terminal
Met
Form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
Molecular Mass
Predicted Molecular Mass: 55 kDa (monomer)
SDS-PAGE: 90-100 kDa, reducing conditions
Protein length
Phe19-Thr281
Bio-activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When rmCD30 Ligand is immobilized at 200 ng/well, the concentration of rmCD30 Fc Chimera that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is found to be approximately 0.5-2.5 ng/mL
Endotoxin
<0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity
>95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Notes
Disulfide-linked homodimer
Storage
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS.
