Recombinant Rhesus CD3E Protein, C-hFc-tagged
Product Description
Cat
IMP-1603
Official Symbol
CD3E
Product Overview
Recombinant rhesus CD3E (XP_014971302.1) (Met1-Asp117) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; Recombinant rhesus CD3G (NP_001253854.1) (Met1-Thr113) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the cynomolgus CD3E/CD3G heterodimer was purified.
Description
CD3 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and acts as a mediator of signal transduction. It is a multimeric protein composed of four distinct polypeptide chains (ε, γ, δ, ζ). Each of these chains contain immunoreceptor tyrosine activation motifs (ITAMS) which are required for initiation of signaling cascades, as they recruit protein tyrosine kinases, signaling intermediates and adapter molecules. CD3 is expressed by a high-percentage of circulating peripheral T cells forming a complex with the T cell receptor (TCR).
